LINDA ALLEGRO - TOWN COUNCIL DISTRICT 1
Linda Allegro is a lifelong Enfield resident and a retired senior citizen. She married her high school sweetheart 47 years ago, and they are blessed with two adult children and six grandchildren.
After graduating from Asnuntuck Community College with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, she continued her education earning a Bachelor Degree in Education/Child Development from the University of St Joseph. During her 35-year career she taught PreK then, eventually, worked as an advocate in providing resources and services for young families.
Throughout the years as a community volunteer, she met so many dedicated and caring Enfield citizens. She was an officer for the Hazardville Memorial School PTO and a classroom volunteer and tutor, director with the Enfield Soccer Association, member of the Enfield July 4th Town Celebration Committee,
Eucharistic Minister/Coordinator and CCD teacher at her church, and a member of the Woman’s Club of Enfield. She is eager to work hard for all of Enfield’s residents, and she understand that the future of our community is based on meeting the needs of our children’s education and the quality of life for our senior citizens.
